‘Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships’ (MSP) are increasingly recognised
as a key element in achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
As the world’s first MSP operating at the global level in the area of
information and communication technologies for development (ICT4D), the
GKP would like to celebrate the MSPs that have been formed to recognise
and encourage development in various areas.
You are cordially invited to attend the GKP’s “Celebrating MSPs!”
event that will highlight the achievements of ICT4D practitioners
around the world through the GKP Gender & ICT Awards 2005,
GKP-Panos Journalism Awards 2005 for Reporting on the Information
Society, GKP Youth & ICT Awards 2005 and the AISI/GKP/SDC Media
Awards 2005 for African Journalists.
GKP will be making some exciting announcements on the future
direction and activities based on our two pillars of Sharing
Knowledge and Building Partnerships. Among them are the themes for the
GKP International Forum 2006 and the third Global Knowledge Conference.
We will also be introducing our new members who share our vision of a
better world.
Should you require further information about the GKP and our activities, please visit the GKP website at http://www.globalknowledge.org.
We would like you to be a part of our celebrations. Please RSVP to hazreen@gkps.org.my by 9 November 2005. |
